What Happens After You Hit Send
How fast will I hear back?
Quotes usually go out within one business day, and texted photos tend to get the quickest answers because we can often price straight from them. If anything on your list is an active leak or unsafe, put it at the top of the message so it gets looked at first. Requests sent after hours or on a Sunday are read when we're back, Monday to Saturday.
Can you price my job from photos?
Often, yes. Sending your list costs nothing, and many small jobs, like mounting, a sticking door, a drywall patch or a fixture you already bought, can be priced from a clear photo of the item and the area around it. Jobs with a hidden cause, like rot, a leak or a leaning wall, usually need an on-site look first, which carries the $95 visit fee, waived when you approve the work.
What should I include in my request?
Your town, a phone number, and one line per job — the form takes them as a list, which is faster than writing a paragraph. Photos of each item help a lot: they make the quote more accurate and cut down on surprises once we're on site.
Do I need to be home for the visit?
For the first visit, please — walking the list together beats any written description, and it's the time to point out anything you want done a certain way. After that, you can leave a key or a door code if that's easier, and we photo-document everything we do either way. At a rental, a property manager or tenant contact can meet us instead.
